The law office has long been involved in the litigations in the international tribunals such as the European Court of Human Rights and the UN Human Rights Committee. The attorneys of the law office have also litigated civil and criminal cases in the courts of the United States, United Kingdom, Russian Federation. Those involved extradition, deporation and expulsion criminal proceedings or civil disputes over unlawful removal of children from their habitual states.
Since 2002, the law office (known before as Forum Law Center) has filed a quite a number of cases with the European Court of Human RIghs arguing various gross human rights by the respondent states. The cases have been mostly filed agains Armenia but there were also cases lodged against other Member States of the Council of Europe such as Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lituania and Azerbaijan. The office has won around 4 dozens of cases in this court many of which gave rise to reopening of proceedings in Armenia, incluiding in Ukraine.
The cases filed with the European Court concerned property disputes, unlawful arrest and detention, prison conditions, extradition and removal, fair trial and due process rights in criminal proceedings, failure to open a criminal case and carry out effective criminal investigation.
